Last week, I went to Target and bought Gracie some new Hello Kitty rainboots. Gracie has always had a fascination with boos as she calls them and wanted to put them on the minute we got home, even though it was 80 degrees outside. Yesterday, our weather finally cooled and although we didn't receive any rain, we did have a couple of puddles outside.

Gracie wanted to go outside so I thought sure, why not. It was early in the morning and she was still in her pajamas but I figured what the heck. After of about a minute of being outside, she came back inside the house and asked for her boos. Okay I thought, maybe her feet were cold. She put her boots on and went back outside where I saw her proceed to jump into the puddle by the grass. I ran and got my camera and caputured her "rain" boot moment. I was actually surprised because I hadn't told her that the boots were for water and thought it was very smart of her that she figured it out on her own! By the way, she is wearing her Halloween pajamas and her hair isn't brushed so she looks a little bit messy as she had just woken up a bit before I took the pictures.

A new fashion statement

Probably not the most sanitary thing but I did wash her hands afterwards and she was having too much fun!

Too cute! I love both the pj's and the boots, though maybe not together ;-) I know, I know!

Have a great weekend.

Totally cute and how smart of her to figure that out!!! Rain boots are actually a great idea just to slip on to run around outside-- I never thought of that. My sister in law who runs the farm has a pair for herself and each of her kids. The rain/work boots are what they wear everyday to the farm- they can step in anything and be fine:)

Cute pics of Gracie and Im sure you have seen plenty of messy Mia pics with her hair everywhere!!
