Ho, Ho, Ho

Last weekend, Gracie went to visit Santa not once, but twice! On Friday, we went to the mall that is very close to us. Gracie loves Santa and says his name everytime she sees him and gets really excited but once she saw the big man in person, forget it. She didn't cry but was very nervous and would not even crack the slightest of smiles. She finally opened her mouth a bit and that constituted as a smile.
Then on Saturday, we met a couple of friends from my mom's group and saw Santa again but at a different mall. Gracie was nervous but as we were next in line, I quietly talked to her and let Gracie know that it was okay and she didn't have to be afraid. When I asked her if she was ready to see Santa, Gracie said she was and when it was her turn, ran right to him. Yippee I thought, I am going to get a smiley picture. Nope, it didn't happen. That's okay though because there is always next year.

Purse, check, blankie, check

Ready to go and so is Wrigley

On the train with J.

You have to look closely in the background to see Gracie in the picture

Woo hoo, this is fun stuff

Picture number one with Santa on Friday. Just a slight smile.

The next day, still no smile but I love this picture as Gracie can't decide if she is going to be naughty or nice! You can tell she is nervous because of her crossed fingers. That is what she does with her hands when she gets nervous. Also love the pouty lips.

Ahh, both pics are cute. I liked the new Santa they had at the "local" mall better than last year. Still need to get together!

Two cute Santa pictures! Laney refused to sit in his lap at all. Maybe next year!

Oh they are such cute pics and the first one of her and Santa is totally cute!! I recognize those little plaid gap shoes. I got them for Mia but her feet are so narrow that they fall out of them-- I cant keep them on-- it is soooo frustrating becuase I love those little shoes!!

Gracie looks adorable and looks like she had a blast riding the train!!

Love to see you both soon. Maybe we can just get together to play somewhere like a mall or playground somewhere in Brea -- kind of midway for both of us. I would love to let the girls just play and get to know eachother better. I met another mom through another blog who lives in Fullerton and has had her 20 month old daughter Becky for 6 months. She is precious and Karen (the mom) wants to get together soon so maybe next week we can hook up for just a play date. Disney is fun but maybe after the first of the year.

Talk to you soon!!!
