Birthday Party

This past week has been a whirlwind of events! Last Saturday, our good friends the B.s, flew out to help celebrate Gracie's birthday and have a fun vacation in CA. G. helped me plan Gracie's party and she is an awesome planner! G. is very imaginative and creative and comes up with things that the average person wouldn't. You should see her own kid's parties! She should actually start her own party business as I know G. would make tons of money. G.'s daughter B. is actually from the same orphanage as Gracie and we got our girls at the same time and that is how we met. We've been great friends ever since and email each other almost every day. I feel so blessed to have the B.s in our life and am happy that Gracie has B.

We had a ladybug theme this year since Gracie wanted to dress up as a ladybug for Halloween but she was that last year so I compromised and promised her a ladybug party. For Gracie's party, I rented a jumper which all the kids loved and we did some great activities. Aside from the jumper, the kids painted ladybugs, ate cake, and we even had a ladybug release. The party went by way too fast and I wasn't able to get pictures of all the adults but got ones of pretty much all the kids.

Since this past week was pretty busy, I have a ton of October pictures that still need to be posted. I am probably going to do one post a day, just so I can catch up. I can hardly believe that November is around the corner but am excited as I am hoping that Brennan will be home in November. Please pray that he is. On a side note, we have all been sick in our house and I had a cold, then got sick again which I found out yesterday from the doctor, that I have bronchitis. I am now on meds and am feeling better and am ready to face to holidays feeling healthy as this has been going on for 2 weeks now! One blessing is, we haven't contracted the Swine Flu and I pray that it continues to stay away!

Gracie is ready to party!

For the ladybug painting, we made the kids aprons and Jerry had to have his own!
