Meet Nicole the Founder Of The Butterfly Chronicles
Nicole is a life-long Iowan and former Governor Appointee for Iowa. She graduated top half of her high school class at Sergeant Bluff - Luton in 2004. She earned a double degree in Political Science and Journalism from Morningside University in 2008. After graduation, Nicole was elected the youngest woman in her town’s history to serve on the City Council. After serving two terms, Nicole decided to switch her focus to advocating for those with special needs, a cause near to her heart as she was diagnosed with Turner Syndrome at birth. Nicole was born with this rare genetic disorder and started this blog to share her story and spread awareness. Nicole is an award-winning author and motivational speaker. Nicole lives in Sergeant Bluff, Iowa, where she loves to spend time with her family and friends. Nicole enjoys cooking, reading, and spoiling her beloved Golden Retriever Winston.
